Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer familiar with GoLang to join our Grafana Backend Services squad. The squad delivers the best Grafana service to both On-Prem and Cloud customers, owning the API codebase and its components, including the Grafana Backend API, CLI tool, and orchestration infrastructure. The role involves delivering new functionality, contributing to design documents, contributing to other projects, influencing the roadmap, participating in on-call rotations, mentoring team members, sharing knowledge, and collaborating with other squads.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Go
• Good understanding of storage solutions (MySQL, SQLite, Postgres)
• Care about developer and user experience and product quality
• Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Ability to work on complex solutions
• Ability to break down complex challenges into learning loops
