Job Description

Torc is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for goods and services, including hardware, software, SaaS, and professional services. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement for IT categories, leading RFX processes, negotiating software licensing agreements, and supporting vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for IT categories
• Lead RFX processes
• Analyze and negotiate software licensing agreements
• Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and Security teams to define procurement strategies
• Align sourcing decisions with business goals
• Maintain strong vendor relationships
• Support vendor onboarding and performance evaluations
• Ensure scalability of IT vendor contracts
• Ensure procurement activities align with policies and regulations
• Use procurement tools to manage RFX events and contracts
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Educate internal teams on procurement policies
• Serve as a point of contact for procurement-related questions

Requirements

• BS with 4+ years or MS with 0-3+ years of experience
• Knowledge of IT procurement or strategic sourcing
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models
• Experience with RFX events and vendor negotiations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in procurement systems
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with teams
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Critical/logical thinking
• Strong business insight and judgment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
