Verkada seeks a driven Enterprise Account Executive to acquire new business in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market within the Oklahoma region, focusing on sales strategy, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Dedicate time to field-based sales activities
Develop and implement a territory plan
Manage the sales process to meet metrics and quota
Prospect and outreach to new SLED business opportunities
Meet or exceed individual targets
Initiate and manage expansion discussions
Devise a customer acquisition strategy
Drive business growth and enhance market presence
Gain in-depth understanding of Verkada’s business and products
Create presentations and proposals
Provide account analysis and revenue forecasts
Requirements
5-10+ years of quota-carrying software/hardware technology sales
2+ years selling to the Public Sector (SLED)
Strong field presence and willingness to travel
Proven track record of prospecting and closing new logos
Experience developing customer relationships within SLED accounts
Experience managing complex sales cycles
Experience collaborating with channel partners is a plus
Relevant software or hardware industry experience is a plus
Strong knowledge and execution of MEDDIC is highly preferred
