Job Description

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical advisor to corporate and mid-market prospects and customers, supporting sales efforts to acquire new customers and expand existing ones. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supporting multiple verticals and excel in active listening, building solutions, and demonstrating strong technical expertise with a customer-centric focus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead in sales process
  • Translate complex requirements into actionable technology solutions
  • Conduct customer-facing presentations and demos
  • Partner with account executives to present technical proposals
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships
  • Build deal champions
  • Act as liaison between client and product/engineering teams
  • Maintain deep knowledge of products and industry trends
  • Lead or support technical responses to security questionnaires and RFPs
  • Travel to support customer meetings and events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or similar role
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience leading proof of concepts
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks
  • Strong technical background in SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
