Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with job costing experience to join the accounting team, focusing on financial accuracy and operational efficiency. The candidate will track project financials and work in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Track, analyze, and report on project costs
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure cost data accuracy
• Monitor and ensure proper allocation of labor, materials, and overhead
• Maintain job costing files and documentation
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Identify process improvements and support automation

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with job costing
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Solid understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
