Job Description

Student Support Coaches work with online graduate students to create 1:1 relationships and foster a sense of belonging, acting as a liaison with university staff and providing support to students.

Responsibilities

  • Advise students on strategies for success
  • Monitor student academic progress
  • Create and facilitate orientation sessions
  • Increase student engagement through social programs
  • Manage student scenarios as a liaison
  • Provide referrals to campus resources
  • Respond to student questions
  • Partner with stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of university experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
  • Working knowledge of FERPA regulations
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
