Job Description

Archer is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical leadership for final assembly operations, ensuring manufacturability and compliance for their all-electric aircraft. The role involves developing assembly processes, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with supply chain, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for final assembly operations
  • Collaborate with design, test, and quality teams
  • Develop and refine work instructions and assembly processes
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical integration issues
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams
  • Mentor junior manufacturing engineers and technicians

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • Proficiency in CAD and familiarity with PLM/MES systems
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and aircraft assembly requirements
