Job Description

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer in Irvine, CA, to develop systems for force protection, integrating sensor data and autonomy to enhance security. The role involves writing code for sensor integration, supporting deployments, and collaborating with various teams to achieve critical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions deployed to customers
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability
• Write fast and functional code for reliable sensor integration
• Integrate sensor nodes into the Anduril software stack
• Drive vertical integration and optimization of sensor systems
• Support existing product deployments in the field
• Partner with end-users to turn needs into features
• Travel up to 30% of time for building, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• Proficiency in writing software for sensor integration (C++ and Rust)
• 3+ years of experience integrating, designing, developing, or optimizing remote sensing systems
• Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
• Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and code bases
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
