Job Description

The Project Specialist manages uncompleted customer solar and home improvement projects, working with contractors, utilities, and customers to ensure equipment operation and project completion, including obtaining necessary approvals and permits, researching processes, and documenting them.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems pass inspection phase
• Prepare and submit utility interconnection applications
• Follow-up on permit and interconnection applications
• Maintain customer communication
• Research and document utility solar interconnection processes
• Create and manage Salesforce cases
• Handle escalated customer interactions

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in solar or home improvement
• Intermediate Excel and CRM (Salesforce) knowledge
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Team player with collaborative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with solar interconnections preferred
