Job Description

The Tokens team is seeking a Legal & Privacy Risks Engineer to help manage the growing workload of legal and technical support requirements. This role bridges legal and technical teams, handles time-sensitive requests, builds tooling, and provides technical expertise to support litigation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison between legal and engineering teams
• Support litigation efforts by gathering and analyzing technical data
• Build tooling and automation for legal support requests
• Manage cloud infrastructure and data handling for legal compliance
• Respond to time-sensitive requests
• Document technical processes for legal compliance
• Work across the technology stack
• Maintain and improve systems for legal and compliance functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and tooling

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical audiences
• Experience working in cross-functional environments
• Proven track record of working closely with legal teams
• Systems thinking approach
• Comfortable working in unstructured, rapidly-changing situations
• Willingness to jump around the technology stack
