Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager on the security team, you will help discover, define, and drive the execution of transformational security projects to reduce risk at Cloudflare. You will work with the team and stakeholders to build relationships, synthesize ideas, support roadmap planning, drive alignment, and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and communicate effectively
• Synthesize ideas into program plans
• Support long-term program roadmap planning
• Drive alignment on capacity and resource allocation
• Identify stakeholders and drive alignment
• Maintain backlog of change initiatives
• Generate program updates and reports
• Lead conversations with stakeholders
• Manage change to scope, timeline, and budget
• Maintain a project management framework
• Facilitate vendor procurement processes
• Close out projects with readouts
• Balance long-term vision and address high-risk issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical program/project management experience, ideally in security
• Impeccable change management and communication skills
• Ability to ensure team(s) and stakeholders execute toward the outcome
• PMP PMI certification preferred
• Comfortable managing deadlines and priorities
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Experience building programs globally
• Experience with cross-functional dependency identification
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to speak to engineers and executives
• Foresight to understand technical dependencies
• Principled decision-making
• Ability to influence and motivate people
• Experience with multiple time zones and teams
