Job Description

Vimeo is seeking a VP of Investor Relations to lead and elevate the investor relations function, reporting to the CFO. The role involves shaping the company's financial narrative, fostering trust with the investment community, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance shareholder value. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of capital markets, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in investor relations and corporate development, preferably in the technology/SaaS sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investor relations strategy
• Serve as primary point of contact for the investment community
• Oversee investor communications
• Lead the preparation of investor-related materials
• Identify and address investor concerns
• Stay abreast of industry trends
• Identify, evaluate, and execute potential M&A transactions
• Conduct financial modeling and valuation analysis
• Collaborate on M&A execution
• Monitor capital market trends
• Advise on capital structure and allocation strategies
• Develop and implement an ESG communications strategy
• Integrate ESG factors into investor relations messaging
• Build and manage an investor relations team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Communicate with the Board of Directors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
• 15+ years of experience in investor relations or related field
• Experience leading investor relations for publicly traded SaaS companies
• Deep understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and SEC regulations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Experience with ESG reporting is desirable
