Job Description

The Farmer's Dog is looking for an experienced Analytics Manager to work with the Vet-focused product group to improve veterinary outreach and vet-facing products. The role involves synthesizing data, identifying opportunities, building experiment design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Analytics in the Vets space on data infrastructure, reporting and analytics needs
  • Lead and grow a highly engaged, impactful Analytics group
  • Define and execute the vision, roadmap and strategy for the Vets Analytics group
  • Dive deep in our data to uncover insights
  • Identify patterns hidden in our data and push the boundaries on insight generation and action
  • Build frameworks for rapid Experimentation design and analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to gather business requirements and design scalable data architectures

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in a data or software engineering related field
  • Experience in Looker, Tableau or a similar BI tool
  • Experience building transformations in dbt
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience in a high-growth D2C and/or subscription business
  • Expert-level analytical skills and a proven track record of using data to drive customer-facing impact and business results
  • Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of relational databases
  • Detail-oriented and proactive
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Experience leveraging data to drive strategic insights
  • Love dogs
