Job Description

PagerDuty is seeking a Strategic Growth Account Executive to sell SaaS products to Enterprise accounts. The role involves managing and expanding business within existing accounts, focusing on strategic Global 2000 accounts, and delivering exceptional sales experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Highlight the unique value and benefits of PagerDuty products
  • Understand stakeholders problems and communicate technical wins
  • Develop strategic plans to address customer needs
  • Negotiate positive business outcomes
  • Manage and close complex sales cycles
  • Conduct conversations with senior-level executives
  • Create effective sales strategies
  • Utilize data to provide accurate forecasts
  • Prospect and develop new logo opportunities

Requirements

  • 12+ years of field sales experience, preferably in software/SaaS sales
  • 6+ years of experience expanding into new areas of existing accounts
  • Strategic Account Management experience with Fortune 500 companies
  • Experience selling to C-level executives
  • Experience in a multi-product selling environment
  • Effective time management, complex deal management, and account planning skills
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Previous Sales Methodology training
