Job Description

AlphaSense is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to support end-to-end U.S. payroll operations using Workday Payroll and OneSource Virtual (OSV) for tax processing and filing. This role ensures timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and coordination with external partners for tax activities.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly U.S. payrolls in Workday
• Coordinate payroll tax filings with OSV
• Review payroll reports for accuracy
• Maintain and audit employee records
• Respond to employee inquiries
• Support year-end activities
• Monitor payroll tickets and amendments
• Assist with payroll-related projects
• Stay current with changes in payroll laws

Requirements

• 3+ years of U.S. payroll experience
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll
• Familiarity with OneSource Virtual (OSV)
• Understanding of U.S. payroll tax regulations
• Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
