Job Description

The Senior Cloud Engineer will support and evolve Nextech’s cloud-based software delivery platforms, focusing on Microsoft Azure technologies, ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performing environment for multi-regional deployments and critical healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance Azure-based infrastructure
• Maintain a highly available and resilient application environment
• Lead or assist in software distribution and deployment strategies
• Write and maintain scripts for system implementations
• Optimize Azure cost efficiency
• Execute server patching and performance tuning
• Set up and manage system monitoring and alerting
• Generate environment reports
• Participate in cross-functional planning
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Proficiency in deploying and supporting .NET applications
• Experience with software development lifecycle tools
• Strong scripting skills
• Understanding of multi-tenant architecture
• Deep knowledge of Azure Active Directory
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Solid grasp of network protocols
• Strong understanding of IT security concepts
• Background in systems operations
