Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a highly motivated Sr Manufacturing Engineer to join their team and drive excellence across manufacturing operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, achieve KPIs, lead change management, support quality control, and drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor key performance indicator metrics
• Design robust manufacturing processes
• Maintain work instruction sheets
• Design fixtures
• Develop First Time Through targets
• Establish network with Engineering
• Drive change management process
• Coordinate tooling and facility changes
• Serve as a liaison between production and supporting areas
• Utilize analytic problem-solving skills
• Apply lean manufacturing principles
• Achieve quality targets
• Lead Root Cause and Containment Analysis process
• Participate during line balancing activities
• Maintain and verify Bill of Material and Bill of Process
• Support productive areas
• Follow up on Quality Management System
• Ensure workstation readiness
• Develop and implement PFMEA standards and policies
• Identify and implement new tools
• Develop and implement training programs
• Prepare and procure items for workstation readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing Process
• General understanding of Bill of Material
• Experience with robotics, end of arm tooling, pick and place automation, position sensors, material handling, fluid dispensing, deflection analysis, vision systems, conveyor, and laser cleaning/ metrology
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods
• Experience in quality assurance system
• Project management skills
• Problem solving methodology skills
• Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives
• Strong presentation and communication skills
