Job Description

BambooHR is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a net-new sales team focused on the SMB market, driving pipeline generation, sales execution, and revenue growth. This role involves building, coaching, and elevating a high-impact sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Account Executives
  • Drive team performance through structured coaching and setting expectations
  • Mentor reps on sales skills
  • Provide hands-on support for strategic deals
  • Design and implement prospecting strategies
  • Partner with Marketing for lead conversion
  • Guide reps in building target account lists
  • Promote best practices around outreach
  • Leverage sales data to identify coaching opportunities
  • Establish a consistent cadence of meetings
  • Model behaviors that drive success
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Revenue Operations
  • Play an active role in recruiting and onboarding
  • Cultivate a team environment

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of SaaS sales management experience
  • Minimum 2 years as a quota-carrying Account Executive in a SaaS environment
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline growth
  • Experience designing prospecting strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with CRM and sales data experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Mastery of modern sales methodologies
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset
