Job Description

Steer is seeking a hands-on Frontend Architect to lead the evolution of user interfaces and frontend infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. This role involves technical leadership, mentoring, and shaping best practices for high-quality code and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the frontend architectural vision and strategy
• Establish and enforce frontend coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Mentor and educate other frontend engineers
• Champion scalable and reusable frontend components and libraries

Requirements

• 7+ years of frontend development experience with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with React JS and the React ecosystem
• Solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript (ES6+) / Typescript
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures
• Proficiency with frontend build tools, package managers, version control, and testing frameworks
• Excellent communication and English fluency
