Job Description

Motive is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager in Austin, TX to lead a team of Account Executives focused on growing new business within their Mid-Market Sales segment. This role involves hiring, managing, scaling, and optimizing a SaaS sales team, coaching AEs, forecasting performance, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Meet/exceed monthly/quarterly quota targets
  • Interview, hire, ramp, and develop new talent
  • Coach and support AEs to drive high performance
  • Ensure diligent execution of sales processes
  • Accurately forecast team’s performance
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and surface risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal processes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a frontline sales manager managing New Logo Account Executives in Software and/or Software/Hardware Sales
  • Based in Austin, TX (hybrid role requiring 2 days in office)
  • Identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business
  • Exhibit a competitive mindset
  • Receptive to feedback and embrace continuous improvement
  • Focus resources to achieve important results
  • Keen understanding and handling of business situations
  • Transportation or Logistics experience preferred
  • Strong experience with Salesforce or other CRM and sales technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree required
