Job Description

Motive is seeking a Business Development Representative to identify and qualify leads, setting the stage for the sales team to close deals. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to sales, and a desire to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Contact prospective clients through cold calls and emails
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for engaging and nurturing leads
  • Uncover prospects' priorities/challenges and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Set qualified meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Continuously learn about products, services, and industry trends
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment-setting targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to work hybrid in Nashville office
  • Strong work ethic and drive
  • Ability to handle rejection and persevere
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Previous cold calling experience
