Job Description

3Pillar Global is seeking experienced sales-focused leaders to aggressively protect and grow revenue with existing clients. Account Managers will build deep client relationships, evangelize offerings, and align strategy with client objectives. Responsibilities include revenue retention, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with the sales team to close opportunities. The role requires a proven sales background, strong client relationship skills, thought leadership, industry expertise, and strategic advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to understand client needs
  • Act as client advocate, collaborating with delivery teams for project execution
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts (upselling/cross-selling)
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential challenges/risks
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop account plans
  • Prepare and present proposals, SOWs, etc.
  • Understand client objectives and suggest custom development solutions
  • Work with technical teams to propose technical solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of all 3Pillar services
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of active projects
  • Collaborate with delivery managers, technical leads, and internal teams
  • Facilitate communication between client stakeholders and internal teams
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs
  • Track and report on key account metrics
  • Provide regular forecasts and pipeline updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client relationship management, or sales within the software development or IT consulting industry
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and growing client accounts
  • Strong understanding of custom software development lifecycles (SDLC)
  • Experience with nearshore and/or offshore delivery models (preferred)
  • Familiarity with various technologies and platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse client stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
