Job Description

Flex is hiring a Principal Product Manager to help architect the company's next decade of growth. This first-of-its-kind role will solve complex product problems, set the product culture tone, and translate strategy into measurable results for renters. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker, comfortable with cross-functional collaboration, and passionate about building a strong product culture. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the New York headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Shape cross-functional consumer product strategy, mapping future products for a coherent member experience and business model.
  • Tactically support domain PMs on complex, interdisciplinary areas, helping less experienced PMs identify potential issues.
  • Shape new product opportunities, defining long-term success signals and securing cross-functional alignment.
  • Mobilize cross-functional teams, building influence to facilitate decision-making across various departments.
  • Elevate the craft by mentoring PMs, championing structured thinking, and improving product practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management or adjacent strategy roles with demonstrable impact on consumer or B2B2C fintech products, spanning multiple product lines or platforms.
  • Proven success acting as a Chief of Staff, Ecosystem PM, or similar strategic IC role influencing C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Systems thinker with a track record of translating ambiguous spaces into comprehensive roadmaps and operating cadences.
  • Analytical horsepower: fluency in SQL/Sigma, comfort modeling business scenarios, and rigor in experiment design.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with crisp writing and storytelling to drive clarity and alignment.
  • Bias for action, thriving in a fast-paced environment and comfortable rolling up sleeves to ship.
  • AI-forward, adept with modern prototyping and productivity tooling.
