Job Description

The Distributor Manager is responsible for driving sales and execution for Beatbox Party Punch through key wholesaler and retail partners. Collaborating with wholesalers and retail account buyers, the role cultivates strategic relationships to maximize results for BeatBox Beverages.

Responsibilities

  • Drive distribution, display execution, and merchandising standards for identified wholesalers.
  • Review direct reports' schedules for upcoming week.
  • Develop strong relationships with key wholesaler management and sales teams.
  • Establish call frequency and relationships with key chain accounts to drive distribution and sales.
  • Leverage tools (IRI, Brand Plans, VIP, etc.) for strategic business oversight.
  • Monitor wholesaler inventory levels and ordering.
  • Develop pricing strategies and manage price increase sell-in.
  • Conduct cents per case audits, forecasting reviews, and identify future market trends.
  • Adhere to CRM platform documentation for store visits (monthly, quarterly, and annual goals).
  • Conduct monthly planning and business reviews with wholesalers (in-person or virtual).
  • Present GSM presentations to wholesalers (in-person preferred).
  • Provide feedback and assist in annual business plan development and execution with Region and Market Managers.
  • Identify and lead marketing and special event opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Participate in pilot projects and brand strategies.
  • Deliver monthly wholesaler performance reviews to senior management.
  • Collaborate with FMSs within territory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the beverage industry.
  • Equivalent work experience to a Sales Execution Manager or higher.
  • Residence within the Northern Orange County territory.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to work with senior management across departments.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Sales strategy development and implementation.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Financial acumen (understanding of financial metrics, pricing strategies, and budget management).
  • Data-driven decision-making.
