Job Description

As an Account Manager in the Commercial segment, you will grow existing customer partnerships by understanding their needs, offering solutions, building a pipeline of expansion opportunities, and managing the pipeline to close. You will build relationships across customer organizations, work with cross-functional teams, conduct in-depth research, and utilize Salesforce for account management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and communication styles
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase product adoption
  • Deepen connections with HR teams, leadership, and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Conduct in-depth research on customers' businesses to bring valuable insights
  • Develop strategic account plans emphasizing efficiency and volume
  • Effectively utilize Salesforce to manage account activities, provide forecasts, and ensure Salesforce hygiene

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in quota-carrying roles focused on expansion within a high volume of accounts (200+)
  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling, upselling, and growing existing accounts in the SaaS industry
  • Strong ability to build and progress pipeline opportunities for account expansion
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experienced in building and managing relationships and buyer personas within organizations ranging from 100 to 1,000 employees
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
