Job Description

As an Account Manager in the Commercial segment, you will grow existing customer partnerships by understanding their needs, offering solutions, and building a pipeline for expansion. You will manage this pipeline to close deals, focusing on volume-driven strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and communication styles.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase product adoption.
  • Deepen connections across customer organizations (HR, leadership, key stakeholders).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for exceptional customer experience.
  • Conduct in-depth research on customers' businesses for valuable insights.
  • Develop strategic account plans emphasizing efficiency and volume.
  • Effectively utilize Salesforce for account activities, forecasting, and Salesforce hygiene.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in quota-carrying roles focused on expansion within a high volume of accounts (200+).
  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling, upselling, and growing existing accounts in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong ability to build and progress pipeline opportunities for account expansion.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially with HR professionals and executives.
  • Experience building and managing relationships and buyer personas within organizations (100-1,000 employees).
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, and understanding of deal stage progression, objection handling, competitor positioning, and negotiation tactics.
