Job Description

The Social Media Manager will have a deep knowledge of the Mizzen+Main brand and core customer and will be responsible for utilizing that knowledge to guide the strategy and content for Social Media. We are looking for someone with a roll-up-their-sleeves mentality who is excited to apply their robust experience to grow the Mizzen+Main brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Mizzen+Main brand and core customer
  • Define the content strategy for all social channels
  • Manage social media calendar, planning, and scheduling of all content
  • Maximize engagement across channels
  • Stay up to date on relevant events and social trends
  • Develop target and strategy for driving follower growth
  • Ensure look, feel, and tone of voice of all content stay within the premium guardrails of the brand platform
  • Manage engaging with customers across all channels
  • Utilize 3rd party tools to understand trends, performance, and opportunities
  • Develop a strategy for amplifying earned media coverage and highlighting paid partnerships effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in related role
  • Knowledge of all listed social media platforms is a must
  • Experience capturing high-quality iPhone content and editing for use in social media
  • Photography experience a plus
  • Experience working in Dash Hudson and Google Analytics preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Out-of-the-box thinker who will bring new ideas to the table
  • Strong cross-functional team member and collaborator
  • Highly organized, excellent planning skills, and detail-oriented
