Job Description

The Premium Audit Specialist will support the internal premium audit team by conducting moderately complex internal audits. This role will work directly with Pie’s customers and partners to process audits accurately and timely, while at the same time finding ways to enhance the customer experience. Additionally, a strong attention to detail will be crucial in examining the insured’s information and generating final audit reports. As a specialist you are also responsible for providing assistance and expertise to other members on the audit team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform virtual audits on Workers Compensation policies.
  • Generate request emails for customers and partners to conduct audits.
  • Perform detailed interviews and review pertinent material.
  • Communicate final audit results to policy holders and assist with questions.
  • Provide Premium Audit technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review final audit worksheets from vendor partners for accuracy.
  • Ensure Bureau Test Audit standards are met or exceeded.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to the internal audit process.
  • Develop and/or recommend training programs to address error trends.
  • Assist with completion of process improvement projects.
  • Other tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 4+ years of reviewing or performing premium audits required.
  • Experience with applying WCIRB or PCRB/DCRB rules and regulations preferred.
