Job Description

Gusto is seeking a Sales Leader to lead our GustoPro Sales Team, dedicated to driving Gusto's growth in the SMB space through channel relationships with accounting partners. This person will be responsible for net new revenue from our accounting partners, as well as ramping our existing firms to move their clients onto Gusto.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a sales team focused on expanding Gusto’s footprint with accounting firms
  • Help accounting firms add more clients who will benefit from using Gusto’s all-in-one HR solution
  • Refine and further develop our strategy to 10x revenue from our GustoPro Sales team
  • Build a world-class consultative sales team
  • Track, measure and report-out on sales effectiveness against targets
  • Scale with rigor by increasing the effectiveness of our team
  • Work cross-functionally across multiple teams
  • Ensure executive alignment and relationship building between Gusto and partner executive teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales management experience in a high-growth technology company
  • Channel sales experience preferred
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to synthesize market research and competitive intelligence
  • Proven ability to coach, attract, and retain amazing sales talent
  • Excellent communicator internally and externally
  • Track record of consistently exceeding established revenue goals
  • Experience managing change and ambiguity
  • Ability to successfully operate in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
