Job Description

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced operations professional to join the Legal, Compliance & Business Affairs (LCBA) organization as a Chief of Staff. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role provides organizational and operational leadership, partnering closely with teams to ensure efficient operations and accomplishment of goals. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, creative, and possess excellent communication and project management skills to coordinate complex projects on tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute strategy for organizational development.
  • Shape the org vision, operating model, and annual goals.
  • Set and track metrics for organizational efficiency and operational performance.
  • Engage with executive leadership and represent the LCBA organization.
  • Manage business reviews, performance standards, and project toolkit.
  • Drive day-to-day operations and develop internal processes.
  • Manage staffing, hiring, communications, performance management, and financial planning.
  • Drive quarterly and annual planning for the LCBA organization.
  • Manage the organization’s budget.
  • Monitor the health of hiring, onboarding, and staffing processes.
  • Manage organizational communications.
  • Assess and implement new technology tools.
  • Execute on strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Build independent portfolio and drive organizational priorities.
  • Bootstrap new capabilities and lead cross-functional projects.
  • Keep abreast of operational changes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience in a legal, compliance, consulting, program management, or business operations role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience interfacing with company leadership and executives.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems.
  • High ownership and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Must be a U.S. Person.
  • Willing and able to work in Anduril’s Washington, DC office.
  • Willing to travel for up to 25% of time.
  • J.D., MBA, or advanced degree (preferred).
  • Experience working at or with Aerospace & Defense companies, Robotics, Technology or other manufacturing heavy companies (preferred).
  • Experience working at a start up or ability to establish processes and SOPs from scratch (preferred).
  • 7-10 years experience partnering with cross-functional teams that include Legal, Compliance, Finance, or Operations professionals (preferred).
  • Active Top Secret security clearance (preferred).
