Job Description

The Leasing Specialist will show model units to potential renters, lease apartments to qualified applicants, renew leases with current tenants, and serve as a point of contact for prospects and residents to field questions and address concerns. This position will perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals. They will also remain informed about current market conditions and competitor performance that may impact the community's occupancy and financial results. The Leasing Specialist will report directly to the Leasing Manager and/or Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of apartment availability and amenity offerings
• Execute marketing initiatives to drive traffic to the property
• Ensure the property is tour-ready
• Greet prospects, conduct tours, and show model apartments
• Communicate with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction
• Process applications, review screenings, and prepare lease packages
• Assist during lease signings and resident move-ins
• Execute lease renewal programs
• Respond to resident questions and concerns
• Perform daily inspections
• Use property management software to track availability and activities
• Design and execute off-site marketing activities
• Complete accounting, financial, and administrative reports
• Represent the property and company professionally
• Work weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 1+ years of experience in Class A high-rise multifamily leasing preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required
• Familiarity with Yardi & Blue Moon preferred
• Canva experience preferred
