Job Description

North Point Technology is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team focused on developing and enhancing an enterprise-level software solution for the collection and management of GeoSpatial intelligence. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping the product's vision, managing the product backlog, and driving the development of new features that improve the automation and efficiency of intelligence workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Product Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog.
  • Feature Definition & Roadmap: Define and communicate the roadmap for new features and functionality.
  • User-Centered Design: Ensure that the software is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with the development team to ensure technical feasibility.
  • AI and Automation Integration: Collaborate with the AI/ML team to integrate artificial intelligence.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for product-related inquiries.
  • Testing & Validation: Assist in defining acceptance criteria and ensuring features are tested thoroughly.
  • Market & User Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and user needs.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years as a Product Owner or similar role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development processes, particularly in Java and Angular.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • User-Centered Approach: Focus on user needs and experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in an agile environment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
