Job Description

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will ensure that systems are tested to stringent standards, consistently shipping high-quality products. You will solve difficult testing problems, improve automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain test activities in production and ensure test flow
• Troubleshoot electrical issues
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream
• Improve and sustain existing test systems
• Generate test work instructions
• Train technicians on equipment use
• Develop library of common failure modes
• Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions
• Work with teams to support customer returns and failure analysis
• Contribute feedback to early-stage test design
• Analyze test data and provide reports
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements
• Optimize test strategies
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Execute testing as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS
• Experience with contract manufacturers
• Knowledge of PCBA testing standards
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment
• Strong root cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiar with PLM, MES, and TES
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
