Job Description

The Cost Value Engineer at Anduril Industries drives strategic supply network development and cost management of product hardware, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include supplier selection, product development acceleration, BOM management, value-stream mapping, cost engineering, and addressing cost issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development
• Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM
• Manage the CAPEX throughout NPI
• Conduct value-stream mapping
• Complete the BOM risk assessment
• Ensure completion of all component qualifications
• Reduce complexity
• Lead all cost engineering activities
• Manage ad-hoc cost issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
• 1+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work
• Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time
• Ability to relocate
