Job Description

The Senior Category Manager (Energetics/Missile Systems) is a high-impact role responsible for securing critical components, materials, and services for Anduril Industries. This role involves developing new supplier partnerships, managing sourcing processes, and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in energetics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for energetics
• Ensure quality parts at the right cost
• Act as the sourcing expert for energetics manufacturing
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process
• Manage relationships with external Contract Manufacturers
• Influence technical design specs and manufacturing requirements
• Perform detailed cost analysis
• Support prototype requirements and lead sourcing activities
• Influence CM’s manufacturing processes and CapEx decisions
• Negotiate key agreements with suppliers
• Collaborate internally and resolve problems
• Provide technical direction
• Manage operations for new and existing technologies
• Develop and execute commercial agreements
• Conduct regular technology reviews
• Manage supplier performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain category management of energetics/missiles manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA
