Job Description

The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager (Energetics/Missile) is the domain expert for energetics commodities at Anduril Industries, responsible for securing critical components and services. This role involves developing new supplier partnerships, leading sourcing processes, and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for energetics
• Ensure quality parts at the right cost
• Act as the sourcing expert for energetics manufacturing
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process
• Manage business relationships with external Contract Manufacturing
• Influence technical design specs and manufacturing requirements
• Perform detailed analysis of quote submissions
• Support prototype requirements and lead sourcing activities
• Influence CM’s manufacturing processes and CapEx and technology decisions
• Negotiate key agreements with suppliers
• Collaborate internally and resolve problems
• Provide technical direction within specific commodities
• Manage and lead the operations effort of developing new technologies
• Develop & execute commercial agreements
• Conduct regular technology reviews
• Own the supplier performance management
• Act as the primary escalation for their respective commodity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain category management of energetics/missiles manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
