Job Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to design and analyze advanced structural parts for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. The role involves the full development lifecycle, from conceptual to detailed design and analysis of primary and secondary structures to meet the demands of complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop new aircraft products using first principle methods and design tools
• Own development of primary and secondary aircraft structural parts and assemblies
• Perform complex modeling and finite element analysis
• Apply design for manufacturing concepts
• Conduct trade studies and perform design and analysis research
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
• Coordinate work with various teams
• Provide onsite engineering support

Requirements

• B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace or related industry
• Strong technical knowledge in core engineering principles
• Deep understanding of load paths and design practices
• Proven ability to design high performance structures
• Self-directed and results oriented
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD Secret Clearance or higher
