Job Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer to develop software solutions for air defense systems. The role involves networking, autonomy, systems integration, and robotics, ensuring products work together effectively. The engineer will collaborate across teams, analyze metrics, triage issues, and partner with end-users, with up to 30% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Own software solutions deployed to customers
• Write code to improve products and scale mission capability
• Collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test functionality
• Create and analyze metrics for debugging and monitoring
• Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps
• Partner with end-users to turn needs into features
• Travel up to 30% for building, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
• 6+ years of experience with programming languages like Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.
• Strong experience with React and Javascript/TypeScript
• Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
• Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and code bases
• Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
