Job Description

The Director of Operations for the Warfighter Systems business line will be responsible for internal operations, reporting to the Head of Operations and partnering with the General Manager. The role involves operational tasks, process improvement, and leading strategic projects to drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day business operations for the Warfighter Systems business line, including financial tracking, staffing/hiring, and corporate governance
  • Partner with FP&A to track financial health and recommend strategies to drive toward margin targets
  • Partner with Sales teams and Revenue Operations to monitor pipeline health and ensure production schedules are aligned with demand
  • Understand and communicate staffing plans for projects and address resource constraints
  • Partner with Growth, Communications, and Marketing for announcements and product launches
  • Drive annual planning for Warfighter Systems and lead content development for business reviews
  • Manage planning and strategy for facilities and capital investments
  • Manage internal communications and events for employee engagement
  • Work with corporate technology to build data and system infrastructure
  • Own and execute special projects, such as reducing production variance costs and driving new corporate standardizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or operations at an early-stage start-up
  • Solid technical aptitude and ability to understand technical designs and software development lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with company leadership
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems
  • High ownership with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • U.S. Person status and U.S. security clearance eligibility
  • Minimum 30% travel expected
