Job Description

Anduril Industries seeks a Manager, Field Operations (Maritime) to lead and support field test engineers in deploying and maintaining Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) platforms. This role involves global deployment, operational planning, customer coordination, and contributing to the design of next-generation systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and experience in maritime environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Senior and Lead Field Test Engineers
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Field Test Engineers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Plan and execute day-to-day operations for AUV platforms
• Coordinate test execution with customers and partners
• Deploy globally for at-sea AUV operations
• Support test plan creation and review
• Review user documentation
• Contribute to vehicle and support system design
• Support hiring and resource planning
• Travel approximately 50% of the time

Requirements

• Proven leadership and management skills
• Technical proficiency in Software, Mechanical, Systems, or Ocean Engineering
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills in unstructured situations
• Ability to develop operational and logistics plans
• Extensive hands-on technical experience
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and government customers
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
