Job Description

Anduril Industries seeks a highly motivated Flight Test Avionics Technician to contribute mechanical expertise to developmental flight tests of new products. The role involves aircraft mechanical assessment, maintenance coordination, flight execution, and reporting on aircraft readiness. The team conducts full system level development testing and new production acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft avionics and ground support equipment
• Modify, install, and test electronics and mechanical equipment
• Correct discrepancies by repairing or replacing defective avionics
• Perform scheduled maintenance and functional checks
• Fabricate, upgrade, and modify aircraft harnesses and cables
• Load and maintain software configuration
• Upkeep of supporting information for mission planning systems
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems
• Conduct aircraft ground operations
• Perform preflight maintenance
• Complete aircraft and equipment documentation
• Communicate avionics assessment

Requirements

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient with computer use
• Extensive experience in flight test instrumentation systems
• Ability to perform tasks independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Willing to be multi-capable
• Active TS Clearance
• 8+ years of aircraft avionics experience
• 5+ years of developmental flight test experience
