Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe. The Risk team is dedicated to building systems and features which ensure users have positive, safe experiences. The role involves building systems to moderate shows, mitigate issues, solve complex systems problems, and build solutions that scale.

Responsibilities

• Build systems and products to moderate shows
• Help internal team action and mitigate issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages
• Excellent product instincts
• Experience building scalable systems
• Strong ownership instincts
• Ability to ship products and features quickly
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working across the stack
• Ability to pick up on new technologies quickly
• Proven track record of delivering features
