Job Description

Verkada is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in the Corporate market, focusing on the Eastern Region. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing the entire sales process, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicate time to field-based sales activities
  • Develop and implement a territory plan
  • Manage the entire sales process to meet targets
  • Meet or exceed individual targets
  • Initiate and manage expansion discussions
  • Devise a customer acquisition strategy
  • Drive business growth and enhance market presence
  • Gain in-depth understanding of Verkada’s business
  • Create effective presentations and proposals
  • Provide account analysis and generate revenue forecasts

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of B2B software/hardware technology sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in sales
  • Strong field presence and willingness to travel
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners is a plus
  • Proven experience running a process-driven sales cycle
  • Relevant software or hardware industry experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge and execution of MEDDIC is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
