Job Description

As a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead, you will lead a feature delivery team, delivering new product functionality in our Managed Package. You will work with cloud-based software using technologies like Apex, Java, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, React, etc. You will enhance and support critical components of our solution with a sound understanding of advanced programming concepts combined with deep knowledge of the Salesforce Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide custom development using Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC and Aura
  • Write Apex REST Services and consume Salesforce Platform APIs
  • Write asynchronous and event-driven Apex
  • Understand and debug complex Apex codebases
  • Apply knowledge of modern Javascript frameworks into the Salesforce domain
  • Use continuous integration and Source-Driven Development
  • Apply Salesforce development best practices
  • Build solutions that scale well over time
  • Build relationships with Product Managers and Designers
  • Author technical design documents, API documentation, admin guides and user
  • Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Deliver solutions using SCRUM or Kanban
  • Provide feedback and mentorship to team members
  • Build technical vision
  • Create and maintain epics and stories, delegate to the team and monitor progress
  • Serve as subject matter expert to other teams for features that you have developed

Requirements

  • Extensive custom development experience with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC and Aura
  • Deep knowledge of Apex REST Services and Salesforce Platform APIs
  • Experience with asynchronous and event-driven Apex
  • Ability to understand and debug complex Apex codebases
  • Knowledge of modern Javascript frameworks
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and Source-Driven Development
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development best practices
  • Experience building scalable solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
