Job Description

Seeking a Senior PDM Administrator to manage the Product Data Management (PDM) system, implement best practices, and ensure seamless integration of design with other enterprise systems. The role involves configuring and maintaining PDM/PLM workflows, CAD file standards, and providing user support.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain PDM/PLM workflows using SolidWorks PDM
  • Implement and maintain CAD file standards, templates, and system configurations
  • Maintain and administer the SolidWorks PDM Vault
  • Provide user support and training
  • Review and enforce best practices for data and configuration management
  • Document engineering processes and workflows

Requirements

  • Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar, or 4 years of additional relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD/PDM Administrator or similar position
  • Proficiency or expert knowledge in using CAD tools, with SolidWorks experience required
  • Demonstrated experience working in and administrating a PDM version control database, with some SolidWorks PDM experience required
  • Strong experience with Data Management and Configuration Control management
  • Experience in providing user support and training on PLM/PDM systems
  • Comfortable with collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira
  • Ability to work well under deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
