Job Description

ABM is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on various equipment and systems, ensuring repairs and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, and perform warranty services
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements
• Assist with customers' queries
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
• HVAC Trade or Vocational certification preferred
• 3+ years’ experience as an HVAC technician
• Willingness to continue education in HVAC field
• Ability to use the tools of the trade
