Job Description

The Journeyman Building Engineer supports the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems, including maintenance, repair, and operation of facility equipment. They respond to customer requests, submit work orders, and perform other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards
• Operates and maintains heating and ventilating equipment
• Completes all assigned tasks
• Works with customers on technical issues and failure investigations
• Provides engineering support for systems and maintenance programs
• Analyzes and solves problems related to equipment design, operation, and maintenance
• Develops solutions and implementation plans
• Manages project implementation and coordinates warranty recovery
• Organizes and manages priorities for assigned responsibilities
• Coordinates work with other operational groups

Requirements

• 5 plus years of engineering experience
• Engineering skill sets applicable to various systems
• Meets requirements for working in specific environments
• Customer Service Experience
