Job Description

The Mobile Technician is responsible for performing maintenance tasks to ensure building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained. This includes surveying, troubleshooting, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and other systems. The role requires regular travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Inspect and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
• Monitor and maintain building safety systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
• Respond to maintenance requests
• Visit client sites to document equipment and conditions
• Maintain and repair equipment such as motors, pumps, and HVAC units
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
• Adhere to safety regulations
• Complete required training and expense reports
• Assist in reading RFPs, creating scopes, estimates, and solutions
• Collaborate with account and project managers, contractors, and vendors
• Provide support during facility inspections and audits

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Clean driver’s license
• Ability to travel regularly
• Relevant trade certifications are a plus
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions
