Viant is seeking an enthusiastic Account Director to drive new business and grow sales of the Viant DSP in New York, focusing on new business development and managing existing relationships, particularly with GroupM.
Responsibilities
Lead the sales team and inspire action
Identify new business opportunities with media agencies and advertisers
Consult with clients to align solutions with marketing objectives
Generate sales activity including calls, meetings, and proposals
Drive new and existing revenue through contracts
Cultivate client relationships and provide solutions
Expand Viant’s footprint through cross-selling
Requirements
6-8 years of programmatic/ad tech sales experience
Experience supporting GroupM preferred
Strong understanding of digital media, ad tech, and data targeting
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Consultative and strategic thinking with closing skills
