Job Description

As a Director of Media Strategy, you will lead strategy within the agency, partnering with clients to address their business objectives through integrated marketing strategy. You will set the strategic vision across paid media channels, working closely with channel teams and Client Services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, industries and competition
  • Spearhead planning and strategy sessions with clients
  • Drive the development of cross-channel media strategies
  • Lead collaboration of the Wpromote internal channel teams on the execution of strategy
  • Be the steward of budget for all paid media dollars
  • Review in-flight performance and propose strategy pivots
  • Lead client performance calls with cross-channel insights
  • Promote an environment of campaign progression through testing frameworks
  • Lead marketing and business forecasting exercises for clients
  • Ensure proper creative and analytics team collaboration
  • Partner with Client Services to develop frameworks for business reviews
  • Provide client and industry-specific thought leadership
  • Drive strategic ideation and innovation
  • Assist the sales team on pitches for prospective paid media clients

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in paid media advertising
  • Experience developing, optimizing, analyzing and reporting on paid campaigns
  • Experience leading cross-channel client engagements
  • Experience working with analytics teams on program tracking and performance dashboard creation
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
